/Who, What, Why behind Dustin Williams Photography
If you are here and reading this then I guess it’s safe to say, I did my job. Whether it was from advertising, social media, or just simply telling you that you had to come here and read this, I guess I can say mission accomplished on getting you here! Thank you for coming by and taking time to read my very first blog post EVER.
In this post my goal is to answer three questions, Who I am, What Dustin Williams Photography is all about, and Why I started this business and do what I do. I hope you will read along with me and discover some interesting facts. If you have any additional questions after reading all this, you can always leave a comment or reach out to me on social media(I LOVE talking. You’ll probably regret messaging me. Just saying) to learn more!
So without further ado, let’s get this thing started!
Who:
As you probably guessed, my name is Dustin Williams.
I am a Photographer living along the beautiful gulf coast and based out of Pensacola, FL. I have been lucky enough to get to live in many different states and countries. Florida, Georgia, Washington DC, South Dakota, Japan, and Germany to list them.
I am a Christian who tries to live and honor God in the work that I do and the life that I live. I may not always be perfect in the way I live, but I try to do the best I can each and every day. That’s all one can really do.
I am an Artist. I love everything to do with photography, graphic design, and just cameras in general. If you met me you may think I must play football or basketball(which I’ve heard all my life) but I will always just be an artist. It’s my love and my job, and there’s no changing that.
I am Technology crazy. I love anything digital. Whether it be cameras, cell phones, computers, tv, watches(we have those now!!) and just about everything Apple related! Apple’s WWDC is less than a month away and I simply can’t wait much longer. Not only do I love technology, I’m also pretty good at fixing it! What:
My title is Photographer, but I strive to be so much more than that. My goal is not to take pictures of you, but to capture and freeze moments in time for you. Whether the moment be of you, your family, your engagement, your wedding, your party, whatever the moment may be, I will make sure to capture it for you. As a photographer, I want you to be able to look at your pictures, and be able to see and feel the way you felt in the moment it was captured.
I want to connect with you. Who you are, Why you are who you are, What your story is, and How I can capture the true you. Moments in life do not come by being staged or posed, they come by living and being. That is what I seek to capture.
That is what I do. I am not just a photographer. I am your photographer.
Why:
Why I started being a photographer and running a photography business is actually really easy to understand, and it’s honestly more of a why not? I have the job and opportunity to wake up every day and get to meet amazing people, and capture some of their most incredible moments for them to cherish for a lifetime. I am able to get to see some of the most amazing places in the world and share the moment that I experienced through my lens, and in a photograph with you.
If you had the chance to do that every day for the rest of your life, why wouldn’t you?
